More pirates, wizards, and dragons will be coming to the Nintendo DS and Wii, as Codemasters has announced it is bringing the popular 'Ology series of books to Nintendo's consoles.

The deal between Codemasters and The Templar Company (the parent company of Templar Publishing) is for three books from the bestselling series--Dragonology, Wizardology, and Pirateology. Each of the three titles will get a DS and a Wii game, with the Wii game having an action-game focus, and the DS version being an interactive book with exploration gameplay elements.

Dragonology will be the first of the three to hit store shelves and is currently set to swoop onto shelves in the second quarter of 2008.

Templar's 'Ology series has sold 14 million copies worldwide and incorporates removable objects into the novels--such as a real working compass in the cover of the Pirateology book--along with other items, such as pamphlets and letters.
