PS3 diagnosed with Monster Madness
EX edition of Southpeak Interactive's multiplayer cooperative shooter promises better controls, camera.
When Monster Madness: Battle for Suburbia launched on the Xbox 360 and PC earlier this year, two major sore points for reviewers were the game's controls and camera. Those are just two aspects of the game Southpeak Interactive is looking to improve with its freshly announced version of the game for the PlayStation 3.
Set for release early next year, Monster Madness EX will bring the game to Sony's console with overhauled controls and a tweaked camera, as well as minigames and other "newly built-in extras." The game is being developed by Psyonix, a North Carolina-based studio that has previously worked on the PC shooter Red Orchestra, as well as Unreal Tournament 2004's Onslaught game type.
