Next week, the Leipzig Games Convention in Germany will give gamers a chance to check out new and unreleased games in a sprawling 115,000-square-meter area with participation from nearly 400 exhibitors. But before that show starts, organizers are hosting the GC Developers Conference.

While it's more intimate than the open-to-the-public Games Convention, the GCDC is still set for its biggest turnout ever. Organizers today announced that the fifth annual GCDC will play host to 850 registered attendees, well above the former record of 650, set during last year's show.

More than 120 speakers are divided between 80 lectures, panels, and workshops, with Double Fine founder Tim Schafer delivering a keynote address on creativity in modern game design, and Factor 5's Julian Eggebrecht presenting a talk titled "No Sex, No Drugs, and a Little Rock 'n' Roll."
