SAN DIEGO--Capcom served up what the fans wanted at its Comic-Con booth this year: the now-standard mix of playable games, costumed characters, and some goods for purchase. The games on the show floor were mostly the E3 versions of games we played a few weeks ago: Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law for the PlayStation2, Zack & Wiki: Quest for Barbaros' Treasure for the Nintendo Wii, Mega Man Star Force: Dragon, Mega Man ZX Advent, and Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney Trials and Tribulations for the Nintendo DS, Super Puzzle Fighter II Turbo HD Remix and Rocketmen: Axis of Evil for Xbox Live Arcade, and MotoGP 07 for the PlayStation 2. The two older-skewing games, Devil May Cry 4 for the PlayStation 3 and Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles for the Wii, were also available to play, albeit in a special pod open to those over 17. The one updated title of the bunch was Harvey Birdman: Attorney at Law for the PS2, which incorporated some of the voice acting from actor David Cole.

As in years past, you could also spot costumed characters such as Mega Man and Harvey Birdman doing laps around the booth and mingling with the masses. Visitors to the booth could also buy a selection of games and goods from a mini-store on-site. They could also have a gander at props and costumes from the upcoming Resident Evil: Extinction. Finally, the rear of the booth contained a large fighting ring that was the scene for Puzzle Fighter and Lost Planet tournaments.
