Kuju feels the Chemistry

Back in March, Kuju Brighton announced that it would be changing its corporate identity to that of "fun and accessible" young woman Zoë Mode. The new face of the SingStar: Rocks studio was said to "reflect our in-house philosophy" and be an "open-minded and social person who likes parties, music, and games."

Now, Kuju Sheffield is also having an identity change: It has been rebranded Chemistry. Chemistry/Kuju Sheffield specialises in creating games based on Epic's Unreal Engine toolset.

Studio head Simeon Pashley explained, "Chemistry is about combining known elements to cause a reaction and make something that didn't exist before. That's what we do: take a proven engine and add our staff's creativity and talent in order to create something new and exciting."

Kuju Sheffield was founded in 2002, one of five regional Kuju studios in the UK, and has worked on titles including Buzz!, Pilot Academy, and Club Football. It currently employs 30 people and is currently on a recruitment drive for next-generation artists, animators, designers, and managers.

It is currently developing To End All Wars, an Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 title for Ghostlight--set for release in 2008--along with an as yet unannounced game for Xbox Live Arcade sometime this year.
