"I'm inviting YOU to help me make a brand new massively multiplayer PC game. I have a funded development team ready to start producing this game."

With those words, veteran game designer and Shiny Entertainment founder David Perry opened up the floodgates to aspiring gamers anxious to work with one of the game industry's most prolific designers.

Perry, who has aligned himself with the recent incarnation of Acclaim Games, will be the design lead and director behind PROJECT: Top Secret, an upcoming MMO title due from the publisher.

The contest will seek out someone from the player community who contributes the best ideas for the game, ultimately giving the player "an opportunity to participate in the entire video game development process from start to finish." Perry will be building the new title from the ground up and is offering the player community "a rare opportunity" to help out with the game's design and development.

Perry fans the flames of collaboration further, stating that "for one lucky individual, whoever shines most during the game's development, I'm going to offer something nobody else would ever give away. I'm going to give them a major project to direct, a fully-funded MMO guaranteed to be published by Acclaim."
