Microsoft exec with ties to Xbox resigns
Bryan Lee, corporate VP at Microsoft's entertainment and devices division, will leave post in next few weeks.
Bryan Lee, a longtime deputy of Xbox boss Robbie Bach, will soon leave Microsoft to pursue personal interests, the company said today. Along with J Allard, Lee had transitioned from the Xbox group to the company's Zune division recently. Lee is a six-year Microsoft veteran and had been charged with managing the business development and marketing side of the Zune business. His departure will leave Allard in sole ownership of the Zune group. According to the Seattle Post Intelligencer, Bach, president of Microsoft's Entertainment and Devices Division, announced the news internally earlier today. Molly O'Donnell, a spokeswoman for the division, told Bloomberg, "People will always read tea leaves, but the truth remains that this is just a natural course of organizational changes."
