New threads, tats come to Saints Row

Nothing says straight-up gangsta like a homey wearing a samurai helmet, leather chaps, and bunny slippers. Soon, hoodrats around the fictional borough of Stilwater will be donning new duds like those and more, thanks to THQ's first downloadable content pack for Saints Row.

The Funky Fresh Pack is now available for download from Xbox Live Marketplace for 100 Marketplace points ($1.25). The pack contains several items--clothes, bling, tattoos, and hairstyles--for use in both single-player and multiplayer modes.

Not content to stick with the standard thuggish wear, the Funky Fresh Pack has apparel that's more funky than fresh. Aside from the samurai helmet, leather chaps, and bunny slippers, gangsters can suit up in leopard-skin underwear, an eye patch, and a spiked leather jacket.
