Tokyo Game Show producer CESA yesterday outlined a special, retro-themed exhibition planned for the event. Titled "Television Game Museum," the display will cover the history of console gaming from the appearance of Nintendo's Famicom (or NES as it is known in the West) to the present crop of machines. A selection of hit games from each generation will be displayed alongside their respective hardware. A separate "Retro Gaming Corner" will be set up to allow young gamers a glimpse of the past and also to give more seasoned gamers a chance to reminisce about the days of yore. The exhibit is cosponsored by Sega, Sony Computer Entertainment, Nintendo, and Microsoft. TGS will be held September 22-24.
