Saints Row demo sets record

Earlier this year, THQ CEO Brian Farrell told GameSpot that the game from his company's portfolio that he's most excited for this year is Saints Row for the Xbox 360. Apparently, gamers are just as excited for the game, as the single-player demo set a new record for downloads over Xbox Live Marketplace. The file, which hit Xbox Live on August 1, was jacked 350,000 times in its first week of release--the most of any demo for the Xbox 360. Saints Row is being developed by Volition and is scheduled to be released on August 29.
