Monday: We play Madden for eight hours straight

GameSpot's second Live Gameplay Marathon begins Monday, August 21, and features the Xbox 360, PS2, and Xbox versions of Madden NFL 07.

On August 21 from 4 p.m. until midnight PDT, GameSpot subscribers will have a chance to get an extensive firsthand look at the latest installment in EA Sports' wildly popular football franchise, Madden NFL 07...or, rather, a secondhand look. We'll be bringing viewers a live feed of a marathon stretch of Madden gameplay, featuring the Xbox 360, PlayStation 2, and Xbox versions of the game and all the different modes of play available.

GameSpot sports editor Brian Ekberg, associate editor Alex Navarro, and features producer Rich Gallup will be driving the game, offering color commentary about the experience as it transpires. While the video feed will be open to everyone, GameSpot subscribers will be able to chat with one another over the course of the event and send in their questions to the crew starting at 7 p.m. PDT.

    Madden 07 is good, I give it a 9 or 10, its vary good.

    Well, thank you Rich, Brian and Alex. Even though i didn't get into the live chat rooms i still had a lot of fun watching you guys play Madden '07, you guys are always fun to watch. Again, thanks, it's good to know some of you are up for marathon game sessions like some of us are. Hope to see another one sometime.

    Pretty funny Jerkface96! I heard that if you press X and A at the same time, Terrell Owens whines like the **** that he is. When they say that this game is authentic, they really mean it.

    yea that kept happening to me it is really frustrating just restart computer thats what i did, and yay snow game, but wrong platform i wanted to see it on 360 damn oh well

    could someone tell me how to watch some of this video. I'm clicking the proper links and have nothing blocking the signal but when the program pops up it just says "ready" and doesn't run.

    hey does anybody know if for the superstar mode if you can edit your player like visors,gloves,bands,etc. because they didnt show if u could when they highlighted superstar mode
