Some of us are signing off until the New Year, but we'll have occasional updates as well as our massive Best and Worst of 2006 feature to tide you over until 2007.
As the gaming industry winds down after a busy year that saw the launches of the DS Lite, the PlayStation 3, and the Wii, so too will the staff at GameSpot pause for a breather. This year's festivities also feature the debut of the new and improved Readers' Choice Awards. Readers can now weigh in with their own picks on most of the categories, voting for one of the GameSpot-chosen finalists or choosing their own write-in candidates. Voting will continue through January 18, 2007, and after that date all voters will earn a unique emblem in their profile. The Readers' Choice Awards winners will finally be revealed on January 26 at 4 p.m. Pacific.
