TOKYO--Sega has announced that it will release another edition of its Saturn model USB gamepad for the PC and Macintosh, following the hot sales of its pearl white edition after it hit stores just last Friday. The USB device will come in the authentic gray color of the Saturn's original controller.

The “Saturn-authentic” USB pad will become available on August 9 for 3,129 yen ($29). The first 2,000 units of the controller will come with a free subscription to Sega Game Honpo. The online gaming service lets subscribers play classic Genesis games on the PC.

Sega originally created the USB gamepad as an exclusive bonus to the Macintosh edition of Puyo Pop Fever, released in Japan on June 24. As a result of heavy demand from fans, Sega decided to sell the USB controller as a single product. The newly announced PC edition of Puyo Pop Fever will also come bundled with its own exclusive white and orange model.
