The game is really fun, but you might not want to pay $40 for a game that lasts 6 hours or less.
New Super Mario Bros. 2, unlike other games in the series, is revolved around collecting coins. Your main goal, aside from saving the Princess, is to collect 1 million coins in total. There is even a mode, Coin Rush mode, where you have to collect as many coins as you can in 3 levels with 99 second time limits.

-Only 6 hours long in total (it tells you in Activity Log)
-DLC is $2.50 for 3 short levels
-Only a couple of new power ups

Seriously, this game is NOT worth $40! The game takes only 5-6 hours to beat! If you can find a used copy of the game for $25-$30, then I would recommend it. The game is extremely addictive and I think I beat half of the game in one sithrough. It only took me 2 hours or so to get to World 3. That's half the game in 2 hours. However, the DLC in Coin Rush mode definetly racks up more time.
