I started playing NWN1 and got hooked. Went out and bought the Diamond pack for the expansions. Great Deal Great Game.

I haven't gotten on line yet to play on the servers, but the community looks pretty powerful and together. I'm practicing up on my game play before getting out there. I'm Downloading the CEP (Community Expansion Pack) as I write this review, can't wait to see the content. I've played some RPG's but I mostly play simulators and puzzle games. I recently tried Starcraft and found it adequate, but when I started playing NWN and created a couple of characters and got in to the middle of it. I wanted more. I found myself going back no matter how many times I got my But kicked cause I just wanted to get better. The Graphics are excellent the detail is nice. The zooming in and our of the camera perspective is quality. I like getting down close when I'm in a combat situation. The audio is good a bit redundant but the beauty of NWN is you can create your own reality from content available. Much like train sims and flight sims the world is as good as you can compile. I just installed the Diamond Expansion packs and can't wait to install the CEP. If you like RPG's this is one to get. We've come a long way from D&D characters, books, game boards and dice. I rate this one a must have.
Finally got on line with the game, great ,no problems and the game play is still good no draw backs. The community is pretty straight forward. so far no Bozos. I've downloaded some great mods from the vault and installed the CEP, there are quite a lot of devoted player/developers out there who are spending time creating some great mods to play!
