I really enjoyed the first NFS: U game and this game had all the hype to be that game and more.. But if that was it's mission then I would say mission failed.. However this is still a really good game.. It has great custimization, good racing, and more.. Free roam isn't all that amazing but still good too.. Gameplay 10/10 Like the first one this games gameplay is just great.. They made the cars with alittle bit more of a sim feel to them in this game, which I like better than the previous one.. But the racing isn't as fun as the first one and I had about no close finshes or replay worthy moments in this game like the first one.. But you can't beat buying a car building it up and taking it to the streets.. Atleast to me.. The controls are good too.. The only thing I didn't like about the gameplay is the racebreaker system.. That is basically they refill your nitros in game from getting points ( you get points for power sliding, avoiding accidents, leading laps, and some other stuff).. I didn't like this because it gave the game more of an arcade feeling. Also they gave you alot less nitros then the last NFSU so you basically have to refill it.. Overall I love this games gameplay. Graphics: 9/10 Like most aspects of this game, the graphics fail in comparison to NFS: U.. I really grew onto the hella blurry graphics of NFS: U and loved them.. But this game seems to shined away from that and went more of a less blurry still blurry look.. And at most times it just seemed pixelated.. But with the pixelatedness and the fact that they aren't as good as NFS: U's aside, this game has good graphics to me atleast.. The cars look good and the enviroment is great.. Sound: 9/10 The cars sound great in this game I love this sound just it seems quite at times and not worthy of a 10.. Value: 9/10 Now the problem with the value is that sure you have to beat nearly 150 races to beat the game, which is 30 more than last years NFSU, but all the races seem really easy to win and are short.. But towards the end in stage 5 the races start to get really long and somewhat hard.. That is the only reason that this game gets an easy over really easy.. I beat this game in about 15 hours of play.. Like I said before sure there are alot of races but they seem to get repeative and really easy to beat.. On the flip side you can spend alot of time free roaming which can be really fun.. When you free roam you can look for hidden shops, challenge other free roaming racers to outrun races( Which I find pretty boring and pointless),find hidden races( these give you more bank when you win), or just drive around and mess around.. Now all of that is just the career mode, there is still more to do other than that.. The game really has pretty good online, it could be way better but it's about as good as your gonna get from a racing game at this time, you have to choose what race type you want to do and work your way up levels in that type online... You get points for winning races that help you raise your level... So far I am only elite in curcuit.. Elite is level 10 the highest level you can reach, once you reach it you will have a little thing light up that others can see.. You also have seperate cars for online ranked games only.. You have to fix these cars up for online ranked games.. Without online this game value is a 8 or 7.. You can also do unranked games just for fun where you can use any car you have( your career car, cars you custimized for fun, and ranked cars).. I find unranked games pointless but lots of people play them.. Overall the online experience is good.. Lastly you can just fix cars off career and offline just like the first one.. I find it fun fixing up lots of different types of cars.. If you wait to do it until you beat career it's probley better... So there is alot to do just it is pretty easy or gets alittle boring, but there still is alot. Reviewers Tilt: 10/10 Had great fun playing this game, it's a really good game so of course the tilt is a 10... Overall: 9.6 Final words: I really love the NFSU series it is probley my favorite series next to the GTA series.. I hope to see alot more NFSU games in the future and I will play them all.. I suggest this game to anyone.. Great game.
