Got speed, the beef to dodge the cops, and the moves to go up the blacklist?

User Rating: 9.5 | Need for Speed Most Wanted PS2
NFS: Most Wanted is one game that brings racing to a whole new level. The story is one of the best of the NFS sereis. You are a driver who is trying to get up the "Blacklist," which is basically a list of the most wanted racers, with the racing skills to match. But still, the oppent A.I. isen't the smartest of the bunch at the start, but as you progress, they get more and more smarter. And there is cops. As you go into a pursuit, your "Heat" meter goes up when there are cops on your rear. When the bar is finished, you go up a level. So, a level 1 could be a simple Crown Victoria-rip-off, and a Level 5 would be a federal dude in a Corvette C6. Also, you can break up the pursuit with a "Pursuit Breaker." A Pursuit Breaker is were a destroyble object (Example: a water tower.) can ultimitley change the pursuit in your favour. It can be pretty awesome destroying a donut shop and put the huge donut onto the feds. Also, if you arel ucky to finish of a Blacklist racer, you can pick two markers. These range from extra cash, to special performance parts to the pink slip for a Blacklist racer's ride. Nice. But, EA has TWO editions for this. The normal version, and the "Black Edition." The Black Edition has a bonus DVD with a behind-the-scenes look at making the game and more. The Black Edition also has a few special vinyls, a few bonus cars and a extra challenge that involves Level 7 cops. (You don't wanna know....) But, with the good comes the bad. When you start the game, it can be pretty tedious to get some cash. And, the handling is also pretty bad. All in all, Most Wanted is the best of the NFS sereris, and it shows, both on the box and in game.
