I expect better from EA.

I'm not a professional gamer, so I won't go on and on about textures and mapping and digital this and analog that. I am a full-time sports fan, so I'll just list some of the good things and some of the negatives I've seen in my first few hours of play.
On the upside:
Arenas look great
Fairly detailed player editor
Extensive gameplay sliders let you adjust the game to your taste
New "lockdown stick" works well, creates timely turnovers
The bad news:
Players move a bit robotically
Season schedules are not accurate and lesser schools will turn you down, so it's not possible to create an accurate schedule(unforgivable)
Smaller arenas don't have a pressbox cam, so forced to use baseline cam which I hate


ESPN college hoops last year was head and shoulders better than Madness 06, and it's a real shame that 2k lost it's ESPN license, as I think it will take a toll on the feel of that game. Overall, I'm pretty disappointed in this offering and was shocked that the schedules weren't accurate(I guess that's the price paid for such an early release). I'll continue to play until 2k6 comes out, but EA has definitely let me down.
