No longer Madden's red-headed stepchild! NCAA 11 looks amazing and is the most realistic playing football game to date.

What an amazing game! NCAA 11 and Madden 11 share graphics engines this year (unlike year's past when NCAA would get the previous year Madden's graphics engine) and it really shows. The player models, animations, lighting, etc. all look amazing!

EA focused on-the-gridiron and it really shows. Blocking assignments are amazing (not perfect, but extremely good). The sheer joy of running with the ball, waiting on blockers who are actively looking for targets, making that perfect cut AND having your offensive teammates continue to block for you downfield is something that can't be understated.

Passing you can really thread the needle now, as touch really matters (how hard you throw, how much you lead, etc). How many times have you been amazed at a CPU passer? I have watched replays and just said "wow" watching the CPU QB loft a pass in over coverage on numerous occasions.

Online dynasty is done extremely well--it works exactly like the single-player, but you can tell a LOT of math is going on in the background to make this possible with multiple human owners.

And the feature some would consider small but that I absolutely LOVE that they brought back...ICING THE KICKER!!! Yes, the zoomed-in, intensity of calling a time-out before a big kick is back and it really adds to the excitement and pressure!

All in all, a very well-done product and I'm very happy with the gridiron action and my purchase. I hate thanking EA (I really want to see another football developer be successful), but I have to give credit where credit's do--nice work EA.
