NBA Street does what it sets out to do... perfectly. An arcade style basketball game that is over the top and packed full of action. Graphics: The graphics are supurb, very colorful and crisp. The courts are very detailed and varied and the player animations are perfect and fluid. Sound: The sound has all the little details from the sneakers squeeking to the rim rattling. The music fits the game, of course with some licensed tracks that fit the action packed game perfectly. Gameplay: This is where NBA Street shines the most. The gameplay is great, the over the top moves you pull off and dribbling are so fluid. The passing and shooting is so seamless. They did a great job on the controls that you feel like you are actually there doing these crazy moves yourself. It's not simulation basketball its over the top action that is very fun to play against a friend. You can really have some great competitive matches even thoug its an arcade style game. It is a great change of pace to play in between more serious matches you have playing NBA Live or Sega NBA. It doesnt get much more fun than NBA Street does in a sports game for a quick pick up match or two. NBA Street is a must have for any B-ball fan and it will also appeal to gamers who arent into sports as much since it is arcade style and you dont need to worry as much about the strategic elements of basketball that you would find in NBA Live or Sega NBA. Bottom line is if you want to have some extreme over the top fun get NBA Street. It won't dissapoint
