The NBA meets street ball.

NBA Street is the first game in the NBA Street series. And while it's not the best in the series, (That would have to be V3,) it's still an incredibly fun arcade basketball game and definately worth playing.

The gameplay is absolutely great. On offense, O is to shoot, or dunk if you are positioned right. X is to pass, Square is to do tricks. And the triggers are turbo, which you can use to move your player faster, or make variations on dunks and tricks. For each trick and each time you score, you get trick points which fill up your gamebreaker meter. When it is full, you can do a gamebreaker. Where you get the points from where you are, ( by the way, you get 1-point from where you would get 2-points, and 2-points where you would 3-points,) plus a point that you take from the other team. You do this, you press L1, R1, and O at the same time. On defense, the triggers are for turbo and when you combine them with Triangle, which alone is just block, and you grab onto the ball in the air. X is to change which player you are controlling. An Square is steal. You also get trick points for blocking and stealing.

Street Challenge has the NBA team of your choice teaming up with Michael Jordan. You then play a few NBA teams per stage. After you beat each of them, you can take either a player from that team or development points for on your create-a-player. After you beat all of each stage's NBA teams, you play a street legend. If you beat them, they join your team. There also ways to unlock players from the SSX series, fantasy creatures, and members of 3LW.

In conclusion, NBA Street is one of my favorite games of all time. I highly reccomend it!
