Great game despite it's few faults.

NBA Steet Vol. 2 is easily one of the betteriterations of "Street" games out there. The gameplay is intuitive and satisfying, providing you with any number of different tricks, dunks, and shots that are fairly easy to execxute once you are familiar with the controlls. The game also offers a good deal of unlockables, including famous players from several different eras, outfits including famous player jerseys, athletic outfits, and one insipid enrty involving jeans, and trademark dunks like the Jordan. Further, it provides several gameplay modes, namely straight pick-up games, Be A Legend (where you create a character and then take them on a tour of famous courts and go toe-to-toe with the locals, earning points that allow you to beef up your characters stats and unlock content), NBA Chalenge (where you play today's ptos), Street School (basically a tutorial). And multiplayer mode, where your given two ways to embarass your budies. First, you can win the game by scoring 21 points first. Second, you earn the most trick points by pulling off the craziest moves. The game looses point firstly for graphics that, while not bad, aren't anything special. This includes "gamebreakers" (special dunks and shots that give you trick points, add to your overall score, and detract from your opponent's) that loose their novelty fairly quickly. Sound is also somewhat of an issue, the musics involves a lot of bad rap and the comentary can be downright painful at times. All in all, the game's virtues more than make up for it's faults. If you like basketball games, you love NBA Street Vol. 2.
