I bought NBA Street Showdown, only because it was one of the cheapest games to buy on PSP. There was more choices of games that costed the same amount, but I thought that I might like this one more. Now that I've played through the whole game, I know that it was fully worth every dollar. When I first popped in the game, and selected the King of the Courts mode,(story mode) There was only eleven courts to play for. But as I played on, I realized how surprisingly challenging the game was, and it ended up taking me many hours to beat the game. It was my first time ever playing an NBA Street game, and now I realize why everyone likes it so much. The game was so addictive, and fun, that I found myself chosing NBA Street over almost everything else. I skipped out on homework, chores, and almost my brothers wedding. It is one of the best games I have ever played. The gameplay moves as fast as youd expect from an XBOX game. The only problem I ever had with the game, was that the controls weren't always perfectly responsive. You'd press the block button, when somebody went up for a shot and sometimes you wouldn't jump until the ball had already gone in. To me, though, for the most part the controls were very responsive. Despite the controls, I couldn't find anything wrong with this game, and I highly encourage getting it.
