NBA Live 07 does not deserve a 7.1. It's an amazing basketball sim, you have slam dunk contests, three point shoot outs, All-Star games, and a lot of other features. One new feature that I really enjoyed is the new controls. The new freestyle controls show the players best positions. For example, if the players specialty is dunking, he will have a high-flier icon. If you press the buttons assigned then he will do a dunk that other players without the high-flier icon can't do. Moreover, to add up to the fun ,NBA Live 07 has one of the best soundtracks a game has ever had. However, there is one minor problem in the game, which is, the basketball players appearances aren't all that great. They're still decent, but they just look kind of like kids. Overall, EA Sports did it again with a great addition to the NBA live series. The before years of NBA Live probably weren't the best, but, 07 fixes most the main problems. Ultimatley, if you want a great basketball game to play alone or with friends then NBA Live 07 is it.
