Hailed as the best NBA game on the PS3 - this game is riddled with AI issues and sloppy gameplay.
Don't get me wrong here - the game was fairly solid. I played this game through two NBA seasons so that says something about it's staying power. But at times the game was just ridiculously bad.
The AI was either stupid or stupid-hard. Steals out of nowhere and Kobe Bryant scoring 40 points a quarter. Teams going an entire quarter missing like ONE shot. Not realisitc - but thats what the hardest level brought you. They couldnt get the AI right so they made up for it by having teams put up crazy amount of points...then on the reverse side of things...the player would miss DUNKS, LAYUPS and driving wide open baskets....it made the game so frustrating...despite decent mechanical gameplay the AI was either FAR too easy or you were playing a team of ninjas that were quicker and better despite having lower ratings.
All in all this game is OK, but be prepared to get frustrated unless you like crushing opponents or being dominated and never making the playoffs!
