I quitted playing EA Sports NBA Live the moment I came to know NBA 2k5.
Everything 2ksports (was known as espn videogames earlier on if i'm not wrong) has done can be seen visibly.
The gameplay itself alone already proven its worth, outshining EA Sports. The realism of the players, the modelling of every players etc.. 2kSports initially seems low in profile, but when gamers discovered this game, they knew this has to be the best real nba simulation game!
Unlinke EA Sports repeating its boring gameplay with no improvements over the years until Live 06, 2kSports is leaping a huge big step with each of its game launched. NBA 2k6 introduced a totally new sets of unique controls which no doubt, marvelled me.
Shot stick was great, we as gamers finally can choose to attack the basket the way we wanted depending on the situation we are set. Although the moves are still quite limited, that is other than holding the stick to the 4 directions, with or without turbo held on, and spinning the stick 360, we can still hope look forward to more stunts and moves in its next launch.
Its isomotion2 was great. Crossovers no longer is done with one button. This breakthrough impressed me alot, alot of moves can be derived by turning the sticks the direction you imagine the ball will go to.
Its great fun playing this game!
