Right off the bat i can tell you that this basketball game is not fast paced its actually one of the slowest basket ball games i have played. There are so many flaws with the game that it makes it unenjoyable for basketball fans and those not fans. First of all every time you pass the ball in this game the person catching always has to stop this really gets aggravating on break aways because you have someone running down the court and you pass them the ball they have to stop to catch it and the person on defense running behind you catches up and swats you from behind. Another thing is that players have a tenancy to never hit the player they want to pass it to they always overthrow them by a mile and a half gets really annoying toward the end of games because when you need points and your player throws the ball out of bounds it just gets annoying. The most annoying problem i have with this game is the players, not the way they look because the game does look fantastic but the way they play. Recently i had a game were Kobe Bryant was missing open shots and lay-ups but Ron Artest was hitting everything possible. Also i played a game where Lebron James was too unstoppable that he started hitting threes from just a little past half court he hit 3 in a row and that is just aggravating. There are some things that this game does do right for instance the my player portion of the game is very fun to watch your player progress through the practice squad teams onto the NBA teams and then even playing in all-star games. The graphics are great and the players look exactly like they are suppose to and the courts look amazing. But this game is hammered down with so many flaws that the game is just not fun and very tedious like the movements in the game are so bad because the players don't move enough or they move too much and not enough say your trying to hit a three and your maybe a foot away from the line (Inside the line) so you want to take a step back and hit it but the player it thinking other wise he wants to either run out of bounds and look like a fool or just take a baby step and not make it behind the line and will shoot a two pointer and probably miss because the chances of hitting a shot in this game are very slim unless wide open need like 2 wholes seconds to look at the basket and shoot. So finally i conclude that this game needs improvements and i hope to see them in NBA 2k10.
