This is a great Disappointment. I have no idea were to start off. I get the news a year or two ago that EA has the full license to NASCAR and that NASCAR heat will not be coming out again. At the time I didn⿿t really care, I wasn⿿t a NASCAR fan and I figured hey rent NASCAR 04 from EA give it a try since its online like the ADDICTIVE socom 1 at the time. So I get the game, have no idea about anything in it except that I will always be going to the left. End up playing a couple of races and fell in love with it. I love online games that are done right. So it was only fitting to start watching the real NASCAR and I fell in love with that even more. Picked Jeff Gordon as my favorite driver than Jimmy than Kahn and so on. I liked watching the sport so much that I ended up buying the NASCAR 05 game the first day it came out. LOVED it, 4 players online and it was done right, and had some decent skins so I don⿿t get tired of the #24 car. Made lots of friends on it and it pulled me away from Socom 2 which at the time was on top of its game. Me and my friends love wrecken races and so we made more friends and wished that the 06 game will be the BOMB with maybe 10 players online. At the time 10 players seemed right since we thought hey Socom 3 is already saying they will get 32 players online. So 10 wasn⿿t a big deal. 06 came out with my favorite 2 drivers on the cover and boy did it SUCK ASS. They kept it 4 players, made the graphic worse, and took away from the skins the drivers had. So now (I⿿m just using my driver for example here ppl) the 24 has only 1 skin to use online. And to top things off they messed up the menus for the online so bad that u have to go and scroll a couple of pages in a room to see what are the setting for the race. By than the host has already started it. DAMN, that is just pure stupid. Who came up with this game??? I got my answer from some of the guys still playing 05, that the team was changed. We all decided to wait for the 07 hoping it would improve. Now fast forward to Sept 06/06 were me and all the ppl on the 05 server were waiting to get our hands on the 2007 game. AND>>>>>>AND BOOM they fu(^ed it up even more. They didn⿿t release it for the 360 to take any advantage of the bigger CPU power or the ONLINE capabilities of that system. They decided to take the codes from 06 and shift it over to 07 with no changes what so ever but MOTION BLUR???? Are u kidding me??? That took u a whole year to make????? This is at a time were companies like MIDWAY is releasing Mortal Kombat Armageddon to go all out with a bang???? U guys just cash in and give us this Sh!7??? Too much tooooooooooo much. I had 2 friends that already got rid of the game at a huge lose from the price they paid for it. Me I didn⿿t have much faith in EA to invest into the game so I waited to get their respond. Now I have to wait for the 08 to come out, but to be honest with you I⿿m not putting my hopes up anymore. How hard was it to take the code for the 05 give us more players online and add all the new skins????? Were the is Mark Martin skin with the Batman on it???? U don't even have make a car option in there to take online. Midnight Club 3 SMOKED in that option, u could customize everything down to ur plate on the car and take it online. Socom 3 has HUGE maps with 32 players online. What is the excuse for this lame ass game??? I really really hope u fix this up for the 08 game and take advantage of the big storage by releasing TONS of skins, fantasy tracks, create a car, options that suits today⿿s games, not options that belongs back to Socom 1 days. oh wait that is not fair they even had 16 players online for that one back than. SHAME ON U EA.......SHAME.
