This Game includes most if not all of the characters from the popular Manga Anime program Naruto.

Last year, Namco Bandai did a good job debuting the Naruto brand on the PlayStation 2 with Naruto: Ultimate Ninja, a quick but effective brawling game with numerous moves and items. In this release Bandai have improved the functions and added features not available in the previous game, such as the ability to switch between characters during gameplay.

When playing this game, i found that the game introduced a new and interesting playing style and very simple. I was able to get used to the features within 15 minutes. I found that the game was straight to the point and easy to use.

Until now, most of the Naruto console games have been straightforward fighting games. Two ninjas, a gallery of special techniques, and a list of button-mashing techniques that let you knock out your opponent as efficiently as possible. Not so with Naruto Uzumaki Chronicles, which opts for a completely different type of gameplay.

It is designed to play more like an RPG, players get to be the ever-eager Naruto as he embarks on a quest to tackle 25 missions of varying difficulty. Along the way, he is occasionally helped by other familiar faces, like Sasuke, Shikumaru, and a few others. What i feel would have made this game better is if multiplayer functionality was available so that all three characters can play simultaneously instead of switching players would enhance the experience. In the Manga the characters would be fighting as a team and not individually.

The game is straight forward, and at times a bit repetitive when fighting the random outlaw ninjas. This is the only opportunity to actually put to use those customizations to the player. Overall i would recommend you to buy this game as it is a fun game to play. But i would not recommend it to hardcore gamers as this will just be too easy.
