It is better than the previous but it’s still just basically a beat’em up game with Naruto’s face tagged on it.

Naruto Ninja Council was pretty much dull, but Ninja Council 2 does feel a lot livelier in a few ways. The game’s plot goes through out the Chunin exam saga.

Story: After surviving their difficult mission in the land of waves Naruto and the rest of the team head back to their village, learning that the Chunin exam will begin very soon. The day of the Chunin exams has come and is about to begin, team 7 is ready for the challenges ahead.

Game design: The graphics have improved from the previous game and characters look a bit more detailed. The game plays as a basic platform, you will go from one end of a level to another in different conditions, such as beating enemies or time limit.

Game play: This time you get to play as all 3 team 7 characters, consisting of Naruto, Sasuke and Sakura. You will be able to switch from all 3 at anytime. Each character that’s beaten will be replaced with the other, if all 3 are dead then its game over.
While it is great to play as 3 characters it doesn’t really matter, because they all play exactly alike and none of them really have special techniques of their own.
All 3 characters will be able to perform basic movements such as punching, jumping, blocking and instant teleport. There are items and weapons that can be picked up during stage and will temporarily replace your regular attacks.

Sound: The sound effects are OK but repetitive and the music isn’t so memorable.

Naruto Ninja Coucil 2 is better than the previous in terms of visual and game play but it is pretty much a standard beat’em up game just with Naruto’s face tagged on it.
There isn’t anything special about, not much re-play value and there is no depth to it so you will find yourself placing it on your shelve and never pick it up again.
