You take on the role of Jake, a cyborg built for military purposes. With shining white armor, beautiful hair, and a face that bares strong resemblance to Hakken Lee for some reason. This game offers some pretty cool cut-scenes and combos that requires slots that needs to be filled in order to use them. Each with a certain color, level, and type:Boomerang, Scythe, Hammer, Axe, and Spear. The combo/slot system, fantastic scores, and the marvelous cut-scenes are the only features that save this game from being repetitive. But seriously, I think the music composer got mixed up and composed for the wrong game. Such soothing melodies in such a dark game. Anybody that thinks tub loads of blood spewing from your enemy is cool has issues. What's with all the blood? It's not cool or funny at all, it's just plain stupid. Unlockable rewards that's just a waste of your time. Jake's past is never really talked about much and could've been an extra mission or two to further develop his character. Boss battles aren't anywhere close to interesting or easy. But overall this game is still below mediocre.
