EA has created the best baseball game ever made and thanks to Sega it could remain that way for quite some time.

This is hands down the most enjoyment I have ever gotten out of a baseball game. It is not that much different from last year except for a few added subleties. The matchup between pitcher and batter has never felt so realistic. The game has good graphics, excellent play control, and keeps plenty of stats for the true baseball buff. I love this game because you can put it on MVP difficulty and it turns into a true MLB game. There will no hitting 100 homeruns and batting .500 like in most baseball games. On this difficulty you are a very good player if you hit above .300, just like it should be. Also it has online multiplayer so you can really test your skills. The owner mode is fun and deep with the ability to create and slowly build the ultimate stadium. EA didn't miss much when they created this game. I do wish there was a little more in depth stat tracking, such as all time career records. EA did add career stats this year but they just keep the main ones, such as they don't keep career stats of pitchers shutouts or complete games. Maybe they would have next year if Sega would not have bought out the best baseball franchise. I guess it is only fitting since EA bought out the best football franchise, being NFL 2K. If you are a fan of baseball and don't own this game then quit reading this and go buy this game. I don't care if it is two years old.
