This game really rocks, I can't stop playing it. This is why game companies need competition like this.

I want to start off and say, that I’m damn near an enemy of EA Sports after they started this entire exclusive licensing dealing that they have been doing. Now they will have every game company running around and trying to buy exclusive deals. It's bad for gaming and it’s bad for gamers. Simple as that. With that said, I have to admit I wasn’t a big fan of MVP Baseball last year, and now I realize that it wasn’t entire the game fault, part of it was the fact I played the PC version, and now looking at the Xbox version I see now it was my fault for buying the PC version. This game have it all, I really felt like I’m playing a real baseball game. The game really has some true ambience. The batter/pitcher screen is very well done, now this year it’s much easier to get information about the batter or the pitcher. You can do some quick managerial things without leaving the main screen! That was one of my big grapes last year, and EA did a great job with that. The graphic of the player’s faces are well done, but still not the best, but not bad at all. I wished they would use The Sims face design feature in this game, so we will have more choices. I had a real hard time with fielding last year, but EA have really worked hard on improving the fielding for people like me that love to do their own fielding. I have a much better idea on how to do it. On easier levels, the game will start moving the players in the right direction for you. That helped me a lot. That can also be turned off when you get a hang of it yourself. I played around with the hitter eye a bit, and I say it’s a interesting feature, that might help some, but I don’t know if it will help me, and I really didn’t have that much problem with hitting last year, but it’s a nice add-on for those that might need a little more help. There was just one thing that was horrible wrong with the game , WHERE ARE THE NEW FREAKIN ROSTERS EA???????? You guys made such a big deal out of it, then there no where to be found. EA, don’t give me that BS about they will be on Xbox Live, because you guys have never had anything close to updated roaster on there, from what I hear, plus I DON’T HAVE XBOX LIVE, what do all the millions out there without that suppose to do, huh? Speak up EA, what was that? MVP Baseball was so close to a perfect score with me, but that is inexcusable. We non Xbox Live people paid our $29 also EA. On that note, I gave EA some credit for the lower price of the game, I know they had to hate to do that, but it was a very good idea, and help make up for that roster BS. Only thing I have to add in here, is that it’s too bad this is the last year of this game, but EA Sports……you brought it onto yourself, now you know how the other gaming companies must feel.
