A waste.... expected better because of the 1st one. To think this was a Brave Fencer Musashi 2....

For me, Brave Fencer Musashi was a good game of it's time. The story was good. I liked the gameplay. I liked the fact that there was going to be another Brave Fencer Musashi called Musashi Samurai Legends...

But when got deeper in the game... I didn't experience the same or better rate of enjoyment I had playing BFM. It was flashy but not all that amusing..

BFM had a good story twist and the battle system was okay. BFM was created in the years when graphics were still "not-so-good" so it's graphics was just okay for me during those times. With Square's games improving year by year and releasing games such as Kingdom Hearts and Dark Cloud 2, i expected that the assimilations could have gotten more amazing with an even more amazing story-line than before. But it turns out that this game... I really didn't want to admit it at first, but this game... sucks a bit... First game that Square made in this form that I realllllyyy dont like...

Musashi runs slow in town (BFM Musashi was shorter and was just a kid compared to MSL Musashi who was a teenager --and the smaller Musashi ran faster compared to MSL!), they removed the sleep, watches and calendars that I was hoping to see when I played MSL, and the voice actor of Musashi doesn't match how the Musashi character looks like. The element thingies aren't as much as useful as how I saw how muched you needed to use the five scrolls back in BFM. Since it's a major element in the game, it should have had a better kind of puzzle or something.

The main antagonist in the story easily gets impressed. Well, I'm unimpressed. And the game's too easy!!!! All I really liked was the music.
