If you enjoyed the first game on the PS one, Then you will like Musashi Samurai Legend. The graphics could have been better, and the some of the levels were not needed, overall this is one of the classic games that will be remember for the PS2. We follow our hero on a journey to find the 5 great swords. Each sword is protected by a guardian, and in order to receive the sword, you must defeat the boss to do so. I know that this sound typical, but it gets alot easier as you master the control. Unlike the first game, you are not able to "copy' your enemies moves in order to gain level points.
Every level that you gain, you are able to upgrade your weapons, or you make need to do special tasks in order to keep the story moving. At times, it does get annyoing if you do not get all the "Spirts" or characters that have been taking away from the main city. It had mixed reviews on IGN, and even here at GameSpot, but I do give this a 10. There are many good RPG's out there, but most of them having lost the action, and the sprit of fighting the good causes. If you like slashing Ninja then this game is just for you!
