Starts well then just becomes impossible

User Rating: 7 | MotorStorm Arctic Edge PSP
There's a lot to like about Arctic Edge, the scenery is gorgeous, the tracks are inventive and the graphics are astounding on a PSP. I reached level seven (out of ten) because I thought that it was worth putting up with the cheating AI to unlock the new courses and line-ups. But that was where I came to my senses and realised I was spending hours trying to get results against impossible odds.
You can probably get as much out of it by sticking to the earlier levels and missing out the higher levels and if you do that you mau find this a great game. And don't try to play on-line either. I had level seven vehicles and after three weeks the other on-line drivers left me standing. Perhaps they were using cheats, perhaps they had levelled the game out. Whatever, the on-online game is broken which is a real shame. The three second track completion times posted on the leader-boards would suggest that it isthe former that's most likely. If you can get this for a tenner then do. And put in maybe ten hours. You'll have had most of what's on offer and will have avoided the games main problems.
