Although Moto GP 3 may not be for casual gamers, it will definitely appeal to sim racing fans and bike enthusiasts.

Moto GP 3 is the third iteration in the moto gp series on the xbox. The previous games have focused on a very sim style of racing. With realistic handling speeds, and tracks, Moto GP 3 doesn't stray from that path.

The classic Grand Prix mode is still in the game, but a great new addition to the Moto GP series is the new extreme mode. This is a little bit similar to the Need for Speed: Underground series, in the fact that you have to buy your bike and then purchase parts to increase it's performance. This is by no means as deep as a Gran Turismo game, or even Need for Speed, but it is a nice touch. The races in the extreme mode take place on fictional tracks, but all of them are well designed and even rival some of the Grand Prix tracks from the real Moto GP.

The bikes are smooth as butter. The developers have really captured the feeling of riding a bike. And it is like no other racing game captures the feel of accelerating from a corner like Moto GP. They managed to do this with incredibly tight controls, and a great rumble feature.

Sound in the game is incredibly well done for the bikes. It is an amazing feeling when their's twenty bikes on the track and their all revving to go. The point where the sound faults is in the music category. I personally don't mind techno, but the majority of it is just bland generic techno. But thankfully you can choose to put on your own custom soundtrack courtesy of your xbox hard drive.

The graphics in the game are fairly solid all around. The drivers, the bikes, and the track are beautifully done. But the scenery seemed to be forgotten. They just seem to be bland, and can't compare to Forza Motorsport.

The major problem with the game is its accessibility. New players to the series will probably having a tough time getting used to how the bikes work. And unlike a car, tapping a wall can mean the end of the race for you as you go flying through the air. This takes some getting used too, but the payoff is worth it.

Overall Moto GP 3 is a great game. If you just stick with it I'm sure you can see the great racing game underneath it all. And at the moment it is the best motorcycle game.
