Don't bother getting this shoddy port. EVER!

User Rating: 2 | Mortal Kombat 4 GBC
Mortal Kombat 4 was the first in the series to be in 3D. However, that can not be said for the GBC port. It is in 2D. After all, the GBC cannot handle 3D fighters. When you start it up, you find out it is an upgrade of Mortal Kombat 3 on the Gameboy, but with the characters replaced by crappy looking MK4 characters, & the secret character Smoke replaced by Reptile. The voices are not from Mortal Kombat 4, but from MK3 again. Also the fatalities look crappy. It takes the fatality(for example Sub-Zero's Spine Rip fatality) from the arcade, & makes it grainy. After that, it shows blood dripping down then saying fatality.
Most of the characters are missing, & you have to use a Gameshark to play as Shinnok. Overall, avoid & get another fighting game on the GBC.

Good:
I don't think anything is good
Bad:
Most of the characters are missing
The music is annoying & repetitive
The fatalities suck
Same thing as MK3 on the GB
Shinnok is only playable if you use a Gameshark
