This game is quite the eye-opener.
Gameplay Singleplayer: To give this game a 10 you need all the elements of the game to be perfect, sadly the singleplayer is not quite perfect. The problems with it are the it has basically no story whatsoever. When you go up against the big boys it may take two or three times to defeat them and believe me when I say this it takes a lot of work to take these guys down for the first time. The reason why I rate this mode so high is because of its level of difficulty it is about just right but some of the weapons are really hard to obtain. The issue is that some of the weapons are really spread out and difficult to obtain, I had to defeat the gobul FIVE TIMES! But overall this is a good mode and the first thing I advise you to do in the game.
Gameplay Multiplayer: There are two Multiplayer modes: Arena mode and Online. I'll talk about online first. This mode is fantastic except for the time it takes to get there. I highly recommend you wait on this mode until you have beat the Lagiacrus because there are people who will mess you up and make you look like you had just got the game. VERY IMPORTANT!!! You need to learn how to join quests to do well in this mode! But you can figure that out on your own.
Arena mode is nothing but an all out brawl with the large monsters and you need to use different armor than you use in the multi and singleplayer modes. This mode can get frustrating because you are going into a battle with a monster you've faced and defeated but you have to use the weapons they give you which is really annoying unless you are a new player who won't beat the enemies anyway. Overall the Multiplayer is well designed except for a few flaws.
Graphics: One issue..... Why only on Wii!!?!?!?!? This game on the Wii looks incredible. Its a shame it isn't on the PS3 or XBOX 360 because it would be the best looking video game ever made. This is one of the elements in the game that is beyond perfect. There is not much to say about it because the graphics are so good.
The Verdict: I recommend this game to anyone who loves a challenge, sure the game doesn't explain enough because there is so much to know. I have a little advice for people who are going to by this game, if you like to be at full health in video games you will FAIL IN THIS GAME! But if you don't have a problem with that this game will be very fun and exciting for you and your friends
