This is the worst RPGs that i ever played. Before you flame me, read the review and you'll see what i mean.
The story is simple: the year is 20XX BC, and your a monster hunter. That's it. It's so simple that it works, and it's original. I'll give it props for that, but now i'll cover the bad bits:
It's too linear: The biggest flaw of an RPG, in my opinion. There's absolutely no exploring whatsoever on your own, as it can only be done during a mission.
Missions are boring repetitive: Everything today is repetitive; but nobody will admit that halo is the same damn game repackaged 2 times. I like it, but you know that it's true. All you do is hunt a certain amount of monsters in a time limit. Yes, there's actually a time limit. It sucks.
Loading times: We know that the psp can have bad load times, but these are the worst. It took at least 20 seconds just to load the first damn screen.
Monsters=Dinosaurs? : Almost all of the monsters in the game are friggin dinosaurs. Why call it MONSTER hunter then? Is it so hard to just have it with dinosaurs and call it dinosaur hunter? i don't think so.
Overall, i hated this game from playing 10 minutes of it. If you want a good rpg for the psp, i highly recommend Dungeon Siege.
