very hard, but very satisfying

Everyone said this game was just awesome and epic, so i'd thought i'd try it out. You start out the game with training and learning the basics of monster hunter, but as you get further into the game you start hunting legendary monsters such as the Rajang, Kushla Daora, Lao Shan Lung, and many more. These kind of monsters are very challenging and because of the camera quirks, causes you to always pay attention. But when you slay that Rajang or Tigrex, it's extremely satisfying and rewarding.

But make no mistake, you will often have to fail the quest first in order to see what the monster's attacks and weaknesses are. Each monster has a specific weak spot and are weaker to a particular element such as fire, water, ice, thunder, poison and much more. But just attacking these monsters with their weakest element does NOT guarentee the quest won. These monsters are extremely aggressive and can take huge amounts of health in one single blow. And you only have a 50 minute time limit for each quest and 35 for a few, but this amount of time might seem rather long. But as you fight and fight and fight the monster, the time just drains, and before you know it, you are at the 10 minute marker.

All in all the game can be extremely challenging and sometimes frustrating, but it somehow has the ability to keep you playing it. With hundred of weapons to craft such as bows, long swords, hammers, bowguns, and gunlances to armor pieces to hundreds of quests to attempt, this game never gets old or tedious. If you want a game that packs a ton of content and quests and various other content for only $15, buy it!
