A.I. Patch Needed for Monopoly by Parker Bros.
My first two games played on the highest difficulty level, Tycoon, with two/three other computer controlled players abruptly ended after one computer controlled player traded another computer controlled player the final deed to complete the light blue monopoly for a completely worthless exchange; one of the trades involved a monopoly for only Waterworks, and the computer controlled player receiving Waterworks didn't even have Electric Company to complete a monopoly of their own. Even if they did have Electric Co., under no circumstance should a light blue monopoly ever equal a utilities monopoly in a trade.
As the trade in both games completed the first and only monopoly on the board, both times the light blue monopoly, the games were over in short order as that player then had an unfair and enormous advantage to win.
The artificial intelligence involving trade value is greatly flawed.
For someone playing with other human players, this could be an enjoyable experience. For solo players looking for a computer controlled player challenge on Tycoon difficulty, look elsewhere.
Any patch to correct the A.I. would be welcome as the game isn't playable in its currect state.
