An enjoyable sports game for the road

This is a solid game. The graphics for the game are good for a PSP debut title. The character animations are nice but can be choppy some times in the transition. The field models are very nice and look just like the fields do in real life.

The sound quality of the game is good. The standards of a baseball game are there crowd cheers, sliding, and hitting all sound fine. The soundtrack is a nice mix of rock songs that all fit the game.

The gameplay is simple and easy to get into. First you pick your team to play a season with and then set up your line for batting and pitching. The season mode doesn't have a whole lot of opitions to change, like ticket prices and choosing coaches. The best part about this game is actually playing baseball. The configuration is good and easy to use. Batting is fun and isn't too hard but not too easy either. If you want a baseball game for the road this is the better choice over EA's MVP Baseball.
