So I pulled an all-nighter and 10 hours in, I am impressed. I've played most game modes, and veterans of the series :o)

User Rating: 9 | MLB 12: The Show PS3
I switched from the 2k series to the Show back in 09. I have loved baseball games since the triple play series and Ken Griffey Baseball, and the Show has become my favorite baseball series. Last year was the first year I didn't give the Show a 9.0 or above, because I felt they weren't fixing bugs, improving game modes, and frankly, becoming lazy. I didn't expect a new graphics engine this year, because I truly believe The Show is getting as high of a graphics output that's possible on the ps3, but I did expect some presentation upgrades, new features, and most importantly, fixing bugs. Well, the Show delivered in these areas, and I couldn't be happier.
The presentation has been upgraded to feel more like a MLB game, and even though announcers still say some of the same things, they have new quips and are much more tied to the action. I'm 12 games into my franchise and they say much more about how your season is progressing. I'm in AA ball with my RTTS character, and even though not much has changed in this mode, it's still as fun as ever. My fiance loves playing HR Derby with me, and the new "ultimate team"type mode is addicting and has been my primary focus. I don't play online matches, so I can't speak on that, nor do I use the move, but every aspect of the game I've played thus far is a blast. I do have 2 strong considerations though for new players. One, tweak with the sliders to fit your level. Two, change your pitching camera to " full pitcher" The different view adds to the presentation.
