Overall A good but hard game.

To start off this fine review let me mention the sliding controls. There are lots of new sliding controls you can do a straight headfirst, straight feetfirst, left hook on base, and right hook on base with feet and arms. My favroite slides are railroad the catcher and break up double play. The graphics are good, really good for PS2. Player controls can get a bit anoying when going for fly balls. It is hard not to strike out or get a foul ball do the CPU pitching levels. Pitching is like most games and fairly simple. But make shure to pitch low! The game modes all are pretty good. The road to the show lets you become a AA player and work your way up to the Majors while seeing the plays from your players perspective. The franchise game mode makes you the GM for the team of your choice. While making desicions about what to buy in terms of transportation, field upgrades, etc. The rivalry mode lets you start a 3, 5, or 7 game series with rivals (ex. Red Sox-Yankees) or create your own rivalry (ex.Red Sox-White Sox). I guess you can tell my favorite team is the red sox by now. All in all it is definitley a game worth buying. It will please you a lot if you don't get to fustrated when a game gets hard. Peace out, Giratina617
