Good game riddled with minor problems
The gameplay works nicely. The hitting system while taking a while to adjust to if new to the series works well. The guess pitch and other features all make hitting more than just hit X and hope it goes somewhere good. The pitching is good when you are on a roll, but when struggling you can never seem to hit your spot even if you do everything right. However fielding to me seems awkward, half the time it switches you to people with no shot at making a play and not the guy that has a chance.
The best addition to this game is Road to the Show. It is highly addictive and provides lots of depth. Other than that feature there is basically no different from the 06 version.
The soundtrack for this game is amazing featuring some well known artists. The commentator's are decent, but at times make absolutely retarded remarks. The player models and graphics are good, however the surrounding stadium and fans leave something to be desired.
Without dumb glitches this game could easily have been a high 9, but for baseball game fans this is the best game out there at the moment.
