If you're a baseball fan looking for a good baseball game for the PS2, this game is for you. Worth every penny.

to put it simply, this is an outstanding game for the PS2 platform. I've played baseball games since the N64, and this is by far my favorite. The game is incredibly dynamic - you can play/manage a franchise as always and the new addition of the Road to the Show mode is a great, if not challenging, addition to the game. In the Road to the Show mode you create your own player, picking any position you like, and then you choose whichever team you would like to play for. You start in Spring Training to prove your worth to the team, and depending on how well you do the team will send you down to AA or AAA, where you spend time to develop your skills until you are ready for the Big Show. I give this game a 10/10, simply because I can't find anything wrong with it. If you have any interest in baseball whatsoever, this game is a definate must have. If you are new to baseball games and want to give them a try, this a perfect introduction as the difficulty settings and customizations make the game very enjoyable, even for the most novice of baseball gamers.
