An underrated gem
The good: The graphics in this game are amazing! All the environments look like a masterpiece. Whether its a looming castle or a snow capped mountain everything looks realistic. There are so many different allies and enemies each with their own colorful personality, ( I love how the captains run away when you defeat his armada) and weapon. The last great thing about Mini Ninjas is its open to all types of gamers. Laid back players can play on the easy setting, while serious gamers can go on hard.
The bad; Even though having six playable characters is usually a good thing, I found that only having to use three ninjas got me past my quest without much trouble leaving the others useless. The boss fights were also disappointing (except for the last one). All you have to do is doge their attacks and press random buttons when it tells you to, or shake the Wii remote violently.
Anyone who likes ninja games should buy this. Even if you don't this is a great adventure game and earns an 8.5 from me.
