Surely one 'Best of NES', and also one 'Best of all-time videogames'.
Punch-Out!! defined a whole new videogame category, it's gameplay was totally different from what we had seen before, yet it was very simple. The difficulty was precise, never frustrated you, always kept you wanting for more. The graphics were great for an 8-bit system, characters were truly unforgettable (some of their lines between rounds were hilarious), and the most outstanding feature of this game was its music. Sound effects were great, each character's theme song was quite catchy and the main song was truly a masterpiece (if you considered it was being played on a very limited system).
It's kinda sad Tyson was removed for this version (if I'm not wrong, he would be the first celebrity ever to be included in a videogame) but anyways, the fun remains intact and I can assure you, you'll have tons of fun with this title.
Yes I know it looks old, I know it's a very simple game and at first sight it doesn't seem quite impressive, but the most you can loose are $5, and the most you can get is one of the best videogames in history. For your own good, spend those Wii points in Punch-Out!!, believe me, you won't regret it.
