Punch-Out!! is one of the greatest games of the 8-bit era and it's still classic fun today.
The game is just plain fun. Just. Plain. Fun. You play as Little Mac, a young boxer with hopes of one day becoming the new champion. You need to fight your way to the top by duking it out with some memorable boxing warriors. You'll always be on your toes; dodging, jabbing, and blocking until you get an open shot to knock your opponent on his ass! The gameplay holds up perfectly, it no doubt paved the way for every boxing game after it, and it's still probably the most fun one to play.
The graphics are insane... at least for their time. The NES wasn't ever expected to pull off characters in so much detail. Very impressive. And the music... OMG the music. One word: Legendary. The tunes in this game are about as classic as they come. You'll be determined to fight your way to the top.
Punch-Out rules. 'Nuff said. I would have gladly downloaded it for 1000 points for this masterpiece. 500 Wii Points is a steal for such a classic game. Download now, please.
